Ferri Somogyi plays Rik de Jong in 'Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden', Holland's most popular soap. Like millions of faithful fans, he too is looking forward to the new season.

- How's life? "Better than ever. If I get hit by a bus today, I've had a good life."

- What do you expect from the new television season? "I will work my ass off and take lots of acting lessons. I think I'm gonna be very busy, but I only have myself to blame."

- How much do you carry in cash today? "ƒ47.35"

- If you hadn't become an actor, what would you be doing now? "I would be a production manager, with the objective of becoming a producer."

- What has been the most embarrassing moment in your life? "That singer Nance tore the shirt off my back, instead of a little tear as intended. There I was, presenting a festival half naked! She's still very cute though!"

- Do you remember your first kiss? "That was a joke! I had no idea whatsoever. Tongues twisting for half an hour. I was thirteen and as proud as can be!"

- Describe yourself in five words. "Forceful, sporty, original, ambitious and a player (in the broadest possible sense)."

- Have you ever taken a swing at someone? "Only once! One guy got a rise out of me at basketball. I hit him, he hit back and we got into a fight."

- What is your dearest possession? "My family, my friends and my freedom."

- Have you ever gotten the cold shoulder? "Very little. I hate it if that happens. I let the ladies come to me."

- What do you like best about yourself? "...Jeez.... (thinks long and hard)... my personality."

- When was the last time you threw up? "Four months ago. I had too much alcohol."

- What is the most stupid thing you ever read about yourself? "That I had been French kissing a guy at the beach."

- Where are you going now? "Training (fitness)."
